Sharon Rashburn

Sharon Rashbaum founded SOUTH JERSEY KIDS CONNECTION for one reason – to share her knowledge, techniques and passion of early childhood education skills with parents and fellow educators. There is nothing more rewarding to Sharon than to see little minds learning, and preparing for the world ahead. Her background with a widely diverse range of children and cultures allows her to pass along over 17 years of experience so that your children receive the educational benefits.

Sharon has been in the field of Early Childhood Education since 1990, receiving her B.A. in Child Study/Special Education from St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, NY. She spent two years in New York City teaching severely handicapped special needs children. During her tenure, she worked very closely with parents on their children’s needs and progress. She has spent an additional two years in the classroom of California public schools, working with a range of mild to severe and mainstream students . Her proudest professional moment was her four-year tenure as Director of Strawberry Patch preschool. She introduced and oversaw many new programs which helped enhance her young students’ learning experience. During her time at Strawberry Patch, she turned school admissions from half-full into one with a wait list – in part, from the community parents’ response to the positive word-of-mouth generated from Sharon’s educational impact of their children.

South Jersey Kids Connection has worked with numerous families to give their children a jump-start on their educational, social & emotional development.
